The first cohort of the MQE celebrated their successful end of studies

04.10.2019

The first cohort of the MQE celebrated their successful end of studies during the Munich Graduate School of Economics (MGSE) Annual Opening and Closing Ceremony on Oct. 4, 2019.

All MQE students showed academic excellency during their master studies.
Most students of the cohort moved on to their PhD studies in the MGSE, but some also started a career in the industry.
During their studies, two MQE students were awarded the academic-merit based Max-Weber-Scholarship of the Elitenetzwerk Bayern, the funding entity of the MQE.

During the ceremony, Ms. Lena Greska, MSc in Quantitative Economics of the first cohort, was awarded the Alumni prize for young economists of the Munich Economists Alumni Club and, on top, the Anita-Augspurg-Research-Award for the best MSc thesis of a female student of a cohort. She will continue with her PhD studies in the Munich Graduate School of Economics and, to this end, was endowed with the Somen scholarship of the Egon Sohmen Graduate Center. We congratulate her!
