Application Procedure
The next application period for the Master in Quantitative Economics (MQE) will be open from:
February 15, 2024 (00:00) to March 15, 2024 (23:59)
for admission in the winter semester 2024/25 in October 2024. During this period interested applicants can access the online application tool via the blue square "Apply now" button on each page of the MQE website.
Please note: All international applicants must in addition to their application to our department apply to the University’s International Office which assesses the formal entitlement to university admission. The application takes place via an online questionnaire. Admited applicants by the Faculty of Economics will receive application instructions in due time.
The timetable for your admittance depends on the way you give proof of your methodological qualification. If you provide a GRE (quantitative reasoning section only), you will get the invitation to your personal interview shortly after the application deadline. The personal interviews will take place around end of April 2024.
If you have to take the test of admission at LMU Munich, you will get the invitation shortly after the application deadline. The test of admission I will take place on: Friday April 5th , 2pm to 3:30pm. A follow-up test of admission II is scheduled for Friday 19th, 2024, 2pm to 3:30pm for those applicants who could not make it on the first date (acceptable only with written proof of reasons beyond their control).
